As a family, we know that every penny counts. We also know that shopping online is a little leap of faith - you never know if what you're paying for is going to arrive. So we want to be as transparent as possible about our prices, costs, and products so you can be assured your order is safe with us.
How do you decide the amount of money I'm being charged for postage?
Many companies selling online will try to tell you there is no postage cost, but this is because they've already incorporated that cost into the price of the product. This is fine in theory, but in practice this means that if you buy more than one product at once, you're being charged for postage again and again. We want to give you the best deal possible, so we charge postage at the rate it actually costs us to post your order - this is calculated at the checkout based on the net weight of your order (we add VAT at the same time).
What about packaging? What kind of packaging do you use?
We offer a no frills service - with us, you pay for the quality of the product, not for fancy packaging. So all of our products are packaged in plastic grip seal bags with a simple label to tell you what it is. At the moment these bags are not recyclable, but we're working to find affordable environmentally friendly packaging that will help save the planet without passing on a huge cost to you.
How quickly will my order arrive?
If you order before 2pm, we will get it out that same day. Then to keep postage costs down for you, we use second class postage, which means your order should get to you in 2-3 working days. If you order after 2pm, we'll process and dispatch your order the following working day.
Can I get first class postage?
Of course! It will slightly increase the postage cost, but if you're happy to pay it we can facilitate this service on most orders. Just drop us a message and let us know.
Do you post to outside of the UK?
Absolutely, though again this will increase the postage cost. If you're ordering from outside of the UK, give us a message.
What about VAT?
Not all of our products are VAT applicable, while postage and packaging always is. As such, VAT has been included in our postage prices and in the prices of those products where it is applicable - and therefore it won’t show up at checkout. If you would like a VAT receipt, please get in touch after you have paid, and make sure to include details of your order. A list of our VAT applicable items is available here.
I can't find the product size I'm looking for.
We offer popular sizes of products - usually 100g, 200g, 450g, and 950g. Sometimes we can't offer smaller sizes because it's not cost effective for us, but we can most definitely facilitate larger quantities of most products. Just get in touch by clicking here.
Finally, what is your returns policy?
We want to give you the very best service possible, providing you with the very best products at the lowest feasible price. If you're unsatisfied with your order in any way and wish to return it, please get in touch and we'll refund you the cost of the order upon receipt of the returned products.
